    Chief Operations Officer

    About the Role

    • Our client is looking to hire a Chief Operations Officer, reporting to the CEO, who will oversee the business operations.
    • The COO will provide management, leadership, and vision to ensure the organization meets its short-term and long-term objectives.
    • The COO will ensure that there are enduring policies that guide operations and is the main custodian of company culture. S/He will strengthen operational efficiency to ensure the financial health of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership and management to employees of the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
    • Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
    • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO and other key executive team members.
    • Partner with the CFO to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting, and controls.
    • Works with other C-level executives on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation programs
    • Work closely with the senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitability and efficiencies within the company.
    • Evaluating company performance and recommending strategies to improve results
    • Collaborating with management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies

    Commercial Manager

    Job Description

    • Our client is seeking a Commercial Manager with experience in the technology sector to lead the implementation of its sales and marketing strategies. The Commercial Manager will also build their own team, as well as design SOP’s that guide the Commercial unit’s functions.
    • The Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing and driving the business development efforts of the company.
    • You will primarily be responsible for identifying business relationships, building sales channels, building, and maintaining customer relationships as well as developing your team to meet the company’s financial targets.
    • In addition, the Commercial Manager is responsible for reviewing data and analysing strategies, improving plans, designing, and implementing processes and procedures for the business development unit.
    • Overall, the Commercial Manager is responsible for creating strategic sales plans that capitalize on market/industry opportunities and aggressively hunt new business opportunities to drive volume and value targets.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Create, develop, and explore commercial opportunities to increase the company’s income through existing and potential new clients with whom you will target, initiate, and develop business relationships.
    • Identify and build partnerships that align with the organisation’s goals
    • Bid on projects and negotiate contract terms.
    • Produce and deliver a sales action plan which supports the company’s strategic objectives, achieving sales targets and using initiative to take corrective measures as needed.
    • Identify existing and new market opportunities; take the lead on constructing a robust and successful business proposal that secures new deals, contracts, and long-term relationships.
    • Develop plans for business development and expansion
    • Regularly monitor performance metrics including sales, customer feedback, lead generation and regularly reporting same to management for strategic decision making.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of industry knowledge
    • Proven experience selling services especially in the technology sector will be an asset
    • Proven experience developing and implementing sales plans
    • Proven ability to lead a team
    • Excellent customer engagement and management skills
    • High use of a range of technology tools including presentation, project management and operational tools
    • Attention to detail
    • Experience working with technology start-ups

    Human Resources Manager

    About the role

    • Our client is looking to hire an HR manager who will be the human capital business strategic partner of the company.
    • The HR Manager will own the development and implementation of a human resources strategy that identifies, hires, engages and grows the talent that will ensure the company accomplishes its goals. This is not limited to the how, when, where, how of people practices that best fits its peculiar business.
    • The HR Manager will also partner with leadership and key staff at various levels to drive culture, change management, communication and overall, business transformation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strategies/Policies/Practices: Develop and implement a human development strategy including recruitment, learning & development, compensation, benefits and growth.
    • Recruitment: Lead the process that supports the implementation of recruitment strategies. Develop a pipeline for the organisation. Oversee the end-to-end hiring process including job announcements, interviewing and final selection.
    • Learning & Development: Lead the development of specific training programmes and materials for continuous learning, whether in-house or by external consultants.
    • Planning & Budgeting: Develop HR budgets to cover planned HR activities

    Administration of employees:

    • Develop and oversee all HR initiatives and systems
    • Devise strategies for effective performance planning and management
    • Design policies that support the organisation’s practices
    • Deploy best practices across key HR functions

    Analytics & Reporting:

    • Periodically review people data, metrics and prepare management reports that influence strategic decision making.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 6-10 years experience.
