    Accountant

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
    • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
    • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
    • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
    • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
    • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
    • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
    • Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
    • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective account strategies including relationship mapping, management of opportunity pipeline and generation of service offerings.

    REQUIREMENTS 

    • A minimum of B.Sc/HND Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field,
    • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing sector or firms in the financial service industry.
    • A professional certification is an added advantage. (ACA, ICAN).
    • Good analytical skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Nigerian Tax laws.
    • Strong knowledge of the concept of accruals/prepayments.
    • Strong Knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), and an understanding of double entries.
    • Have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
    • Be an effective team player with a positive attitude.

    ESG Manager

    Budget:  7 million Annually (Negotiable)

    Job Location: Igbarim/ Anambra State

    Sector: Agro-Allied

    Responsibilities

    • Develop strategies and policies to manage ESG, HSE, and sustainability matters within the Company taking into consideration leading practices
    • Ensure a healthy and safe environment for humans and livestock on the farm
    • Develop and implement safety policies and plans across the business
    • Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including biosecurity and ESG measures
    • Conduct and report on bio-security risk assessments periodically, identifying risk-mitigating strategies
    • Conduct preliminary ESG due diligence assessments on projects and activities, and liaise with external ESG consultants, as required
    • Maintain records on the ESG and HSE performance of the company in line with defined metrics, including benchmark analysis
    • Identify emerging ESG and HSE risks, and design mitigating measures
    • Identify technologies that enhance the company’s HSE performance and recommend same for deployment
    • Facilitate relevant training programs to sensitive staff and visitors on the company’s ESG and safety policies
    • Ensure safety gears are optimally stocked and properly deployed
    • Ensure safety signs are well-positioned across the farm
    • Ensure safety devices are well-maintained

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 4 years experience in an ESG/ bio-health management role with a minimum of 1 year in a senior officer role
    • Strong understanding of the Agribusiness Value Chain
    • Relevant undergraduate degree; Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable.
    • Relevant certifications would be a plus
    • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills

    Fiber Engineer Infrastructure Team Lead

    Responsibilities

    • We are looking for an experienced Fiber Engineer Supervisor to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of fiber optic networks with dedication and skill.
    • The candidate must have experience in fiber optics technology, telecommunications engineering, and team management.
    • Lead a team responsible for fiber optic network design, installation, and maintenance.
    • Develop project plans and schedules for fiber optic network installations, ensuring timely completion within budgetary constraints.
    • Ability to oversee material and equipment procurement for fiber optic projects.
    • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal routes and placement for fiber optic cables.

    Requirements

    • A Second Class Upper Division (2:1) Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
    • With at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, the candidate should have proven knowledge of fiber optic network design, installation, and maintenance.
    • In-depth knowledge of different fiber optic cable types, connectors, splicing techniques, and testing procedures.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members effectively.
    • Excellent project management skills are essential, including efficient task prioritization and resource allocation.
    • Proficiency in relevant software tools for network planning and design (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
    • Familiarity with industry standards, expertise in resolving community issues, and knowledge of regulations governing fiber optic network deployment.
