    Commercial Associate (Infrastructure and Energy)

    Our client, a multi-disciplinary advisory firm with a wealth of experience in the Nigerian infrastructure space is looking for a Commercial Associate who will support the organization’s commercial activities by conducting market research, managing client relationships, preparing proposals, analyzing data, and contributing to the development and execution of business strategies. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical, communication, and organization skills. 

    Responsibilities

    • Deal Execution and Diligence- Lead financial models, market sizing, risk analysis, and data rooms for debt/equity raises, M&A opportunities, and project tenders.
    • Portfolio Performance- Track commercial KPIs (tariff recovery, volume ramp-up, EBITDA vs. case) and drive corrective action with asset managers.
    • Contracting and Negotiations- Draft/review term sheets (PPAS, EPC, O&M concession, offtake) and coordinate legal, technical, and tax advisors to support any contract negotiations.
    • Stakeholder Management- Maintain investor, lender, and regulator touchpoints; prepare Board packs and investment memos.
    • Growth Scouting- Source C&I and residential distributed-energy leads for the organization; build high-level techno-commercial screens and present go / no-go views.
    • Process Optimization- Build repeatable templates (models, dashboards, checklists) for faster deal cycles and knowledge transfer to analysts.
    • Mentoring- Coach analysts on modelling discipline, research depth, and presentation clarity.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, and any other related fields.
    • Advanced Degree (preferred): MBA or Master’s in a relevant discipline.
    • Advanced Excel / financial-model fluency; comfort with VBA or Power BI is a plus.
    • 5 years in project finance, infrastructure advisory, or utility-scale energy development with at least one full deal cycle closed.
    • Proven track record coordinating multidisciplinary teams under tight timelines.

    Sales Development Representative

    Our client, a leading all-in-one fraud and compliance platform for financial institutions and fintech, is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and play a critical role in nurturing leads and driving post-demo engagement with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that high-value opportunities progress smoothly through the sales funnel after initial product demos, addressing initial objections, and coordinating follow-up activities. The SDR will work closely with the CEO and sales team to maintain consistent touchpoints with prospects, ensuring seamless communication and pipeline progression.

    Responsibilities

    Post-Demo Follow-Up & Lead Nurturing

    • Take ownership of all post-demo follow-up activities, ensuring timely and personalized communication with prospects.
    • Develop and execute follow-up sequences via email, phone, and LinkedIn to maintain engagement and reinforce the organization’s value proposition.
    • Track all interactions and maintain detailed records in the CRM to monitor deal progression and identify opportunities for escalation.

     Pipeline Management & Deal Progression

    • Monitor and manage deal progression, identifying stalled opportunities and re-engaging prospects where necessary.
    • Collaborate with the CEO and sales leadership to ensure smooth handoffs and transition of qualified leads to Account Executives for deal closure.
    • Continuously update CRM records to maintain accurate pipeline visibility and forecasting.

    • Respond to basic objections and concerns raised after demos, providing relevant insights and content to reinforce the business case.
    • Pre-qualify post-demo leads by assessing their needs, timelines, and potential to move forward in the sales cycle.
    • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within the prospect’s organization and ensure that all relevant stakeholders remain engaged.

    Scheduling & Coordinating Follow-Ups

    • Schedule and coordinate follow-up meetings, product deep dives, and decision-making sessions with the prospect’s team.
    • Ensure that all action items from demos and follow-up discussions are tracked and executed promptly.

    Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization

    • Analyze post-demo engagement trends and provide insights to refine follow-up sequences and optimize nurturing strategies.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to improve CRM processes, ensure better lead management, and enhance overall sales efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience in a B2B sales or lead nurturing role, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or compliance technology.
    • Proven track record of managing post-demo follow-ups and nurturing high value leads toward deal closure.
    • Strong understanding of CRM platforms (e.g., Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify buying signals and escalate qualified opportunities.

    Must have skills

    • Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and follow-through.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling follow-up messages.

This role is ideal for someone early in their legal or compliance career who has strong research and writing skills, an interest in regulatory frameworks, and a desire to help shape compliance strategy from the ground up. You will support the legal and compliance team across a wide range of activities, from regulatory research to preparing internal documentation and contributing to thought leadership. 

    Responsibilities

    Regulatory Research

    • Conduct research on laws, regulations, guidelines, and industry practices affecting our company and clients.
    • Track regulatory updates and summarize key implications for internal teams.

    Legal and Compliance Writing

    • Assist in drafting compliance policies, procedures, and internal guides.
    • Prepare briefing notes, research summaries, and regulatory insights for internal use and client education.
