    Business Development Manager

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customer segments in the agricultural and agric tech industries.
    • Develop and implement business development strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Identify and pursue leads, prospects, and potential clients through various channels, including industry events, networking, and online research.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Identify and establish partnerships with other businesses, organizations, and stakeholders that can enhance the company's offerings or distribution channels.
    • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals by closing deals and expanding the customer base.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and progress reports to track and communicate business development activities and achievements. Provide regular updates to senior management.
    • Manage the budget allocated to business development activities and ensure cost-effective strategies.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to establish and maintain industry connections. Participate in relevant associations and organizations.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agric Tech, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • Minimum of 3-5 years as a Business Development Manager or Marketing Executive in the agriculture or Agric tech industry.
    • Strong knowledge of agricultural regulations, technology, and sustainable practices.

    Required Competencies:

    • Good understanding of market research techniques, data  analysis, and statistics methods.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
    • Proven ability to retain existing clients while maintaining the  inflow of new ones.
    • Ability to motivate and lead people and hold employees accountable.
    • Strong working knowledge of strategic planning processes  and marketing best practices.
    • Ability to oversee and manage the marketing budgets.
    • Ability to create keynote proposals and insertion orders  independently.
    • Excellent business communication, presentations, and negotiation skills.

    Operations Manager

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, create detailed project plans with timelines and budgets, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
    • Lead and motivate the team to achieve project objectives on time, and promote effective communication and collaboration within the team.
    • Identify and engage key stakeholders, such as farmers, suppliers, investors, and regulatory authorities.
    • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and meeting minutes.
    • Promote and implement sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in agriculture and agric tech projects.
    • Monitor project financials and ensure that expenditures align with the budget. Seek funding opportunities or cost-saving measures as needed.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agric Tech, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
    • Minimum of 3-5 years as a Project Manager in the agriculture or Agric tech industry.
    • Strong knowledge of agricultural regulations, technology, and sustainable practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

    Salary- N200,000- N280,000

    Required Competencies:

    • Expertise in project management, including planning and resource management.
    • Strong leadership and team management, fostering collaboration among team members.
    • Crucial stakeholder engagement, involving effective communication with various stakeholders.
    • The manager should be skilled in risk management, quality assurance, and financial management.
    • A solid understanding of compliance is necessary.
    • Highly innovative.
    • Promotes sustainability.
