    IT Auditor

    JOB SUMMARY

    Supports the Team Lead, Internal Audit by conducting audits of IT systems and processes to assess controls, identify risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role helps strengthen IT governance, security, and operational efficiency through timely evaluations and recommendations.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Planning, conducting and reviewing information technology audits to ensure that adequate controls are designed and implemented.
    • Development and execution of all risk based IT audit plans.
    • Apply knowledge of auditing in areas such as: IT governance, IT security policies and procedures, IT strategic planning, systems development, system access, change management, business continuity, and project management.
    • Review local and wide area networks, routers, firewalls and other Internet technologies.
    • Audit of computerized operations using, CAATs tools – Audit command Language (ACL).
    • Carry out Forensic IT Audit.
    • Audit data integrity, system configuration, and interface controls across production, finance, transport, and warehouse modules.
    • Review cybersecurity controls such as antivirus management, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and patch updates.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for performing routine and assigned process audit tasks in line with internal audit procedures and directives from the Head of Internal Audit.     Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Operate assigned heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation and policies
    • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machinery.

    • A Trade Test or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.

    Job Summary

    Oversee mining operations, Carry out mining in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise the activities of heavy equipment operators, drillers, blasters and other workers in mining
    • Ensure the implementation of short term production plans and targets are achieved.
    • Coordinate the preparation and ensure adherence to mine plans and schedules
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and confer with managerial and technical personnel, other departments and contractors to resolve problems and co-ordinate activities.
    • Develop and maintain life of mine plans for all operations with input from all operations and manage the successful implementation of these plans 
    • Ensure that all the raw material tons requirement for the factory at the correct quality aims are continually met without negatively affecting the mining equipment utilisations.
    • Coordinate with the Head, Mines to set production quotas, to plan extraction sites and to develop policies for the removal of raw materials.
    • Monitor operational performance against budget and recommend operational changes to senior management when necessary to ensure that production quotas and procedures are met.
    • Ensure that all safety, health and environmental legal and defined standards are adhered to.
    • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.
    • Prepare production and other reports for review by the Head, Mines.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and laid down policies and procedures.
    • Supervise, train, and evaluate engineers, technicians, operators or other mine personnel.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned but the Line Manager from time to time.

    Key Requirements

    Education and Work Experience

    • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Engineering (Production/Civil/Mining) or a related discipline.
    • A minimum of twenty-one (21) years work experience in mining operations.

    • In-depth understanding of mining principles and practices. 
    • Well developed personnel management skills.

    Assistant General Manager - HEMM

    Job Summary

    Coordinate  routine maintenance and emergency repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems of equipment.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan and schedule maintenance resources for all equipment used for mining operations.
    • Supervise, coordinate and monitor the execution of scheduled work plans and unplanned emergency and breakdown work, determining sequence and assignments based on work priority and availability of equipment and manpower.
    • Ensure the highest maintenance standards are applied and maintained using resources including costs.
    • Ensure team members work safely and follow all safety standards and safe work practices.

    Education and Work Experience

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Thirteen (13) to seventeen (17) years work experience in repair and maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery.
