Job Description:

• We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Care Coordinator to join our hospital team. The Care Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating medical services, facilitating communication between healthcare providers, and assisting patients in navigating their treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments, referrals, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, medications, and healthcare resources.
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with medical teams to adjust care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, RN,RM
• Previous experience in patient care coordination or healthcare administration is an advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Nigerian healthcare systems and hospital procedures.
• Proficiency in medical record management and patient care software.

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Pediatrician located in Lagos State, Nigeria.
• The Pediatrician will be responsible for providing medical care to infants, children, and adolescents.
• Day-to-day tasks include conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing preventative care and health education to patients and their families.
• The Pediatrician will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and work closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Must possess an MBBS Degree or its equivalent, full Registration with the Medical and Dental council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a valid practicing license.
• Must be a member of the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College (Specializing in Pediatrician).
• Ability to utilize various Microsoft Office applications/software.
• Primary Focus on Customer Service
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting is a plus
