IT Officer at Stella Maris High School

Core Responsibilities

The IT Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management and improvement of the school’s IT operations, including but not limited to:

• Managing the school’s IT infrastructure, including emails, domains, networks, devices, and systems
• Providing hands-on support for hardware and software operations
• Implementing basic security measures, access control, and system organization
• Troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring timely problem resolution
• Proactively improving systems, processes, and documentation
• Ensuring reliability, efficiency, and continuity of IT services across the school

The ideal candidate must be:

• Technically competent with solid knowledge of both software and hardware systems
• Highly proactive and solution-oriented
• Structured, reliable, and detail-focused
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced school and office environment

Experience Requirements

• Proven, hands-on experience managing real IT environments is required
• Prior experience in a school or similar institutional setting is an advantage
