    Furniture Quality Control Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough inspections of furniture production at various stages of the manufacturing process, including quality checks on raw materials delivered to the factory, in-process components, and finished goods.
    • Identify machine-related quality output issues and collaborate with the engineering team to rectify them.
    • Supervise the wrapping and loading process of furniture items to ensure strict adherence to all protective measures, guaranteeing the safe delivery of items to the designated site.
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
    • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
    • Document and maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
    • Monitor and analyze product defect trends to identify causes and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
    • Conduct training sessions for production staff on quality control standards, procedures, and best practices.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production managers to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in quality control and incorporate relevant insights into our processes

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
    • Familiarity with technical drawings and cutting lists would be advantageous.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality and consistency.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in quality management.
