    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to join our dynamic fintech sales team.
    • This role is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, overseeing the onboarding of merchants, and ensuring consistent revenue generation through effective team leadership and relationship management.
    • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to lead Business Development Executives (BDEs) to meet set performance goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
    • Supervise and support BDEs to ensure successful onboarding of high-potential merchants and deployment of POS terminals.
    • Monitor daily field operations to ensure BDEs regularly visit merchant locations for transaction tracking and prompt issue resolution.
    • Drive achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs), including transaction volume, value, merchant retention, and overall revenue growth.
    • Ensure all BDEs consistently meet their targets for merchant acquisition and transaction performance.
    • Reactivate inactive merchant accounts through strategic engagement, follow-up calls, and on-site visits.
    • Develop and implement impactful sales strategies and initiatives to boost customer acquisition and product adoption.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and ensuring satisfaction with deployed solutions.
    • Conduct regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for expansion.
    • Stay informed on evolving fintech and payment industry trends to support agile and informed decision-making.
    • Provide accurate and timely reports on team performance, market activity, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4–6 years' experience in business development, sales, or merchant acquisition—preferably in fintech, agency banking, or digital payments.
    • Proven ability to lead sales teams and meet revenue targets.
    • Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and CRM or sales tracking tools.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced fintech environment.

    Regional Sales Manager

    Description

    • We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and business development efforts within the assigned region.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Executives (BDEs), overseeing POS terminal deployment, ensuring merchant activation, and achieving transaction targets through strategic field execution and performance management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage a team of BDMs and BDEs to onboard and activate high-potential merchants for POS deployment.
    • Ensure the team meets monthly/quarterly targets for merchant onboarding, POS deployment, and transaction volumes.
    • Evaluate merchant potential and guide the team to deploy POS terminals only to merchants capable of meeting set transaction benchmarks.
    • Oversee daily field activities, including merchant visits, transaction monitoring, and issue resolution.
    • Ensure swift resolution of escalated merchant complaints and technical issues by the team.
    • Track merchant performance and transaction intensity, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
    • Supervise the visibility and installation of branding materials at merchant locations.
    • Personally visit key merchant locations regularly to ensure compliance with operational standards and optimal use of POS terminals.
    • Identify and implement new strategies and initiatives to grow market share and improve merchant engagement in the region.
    • Prepare and deliver periodic performance reports and market insights to senior management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
    • 5 - 8 years’ experience in agency banking, merchant services, or POS-based sales operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or regional role.
    • Strong leadership, people management, and field operations oversight skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis for performance tracking.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
    • Ownership of an Android smartphone is mandatory.
    • Customer-focused mindset with adaptability to diverse personalities.
    • Self-motivated and highly accountable with a passion for growth.
