Warehouse Specialist at Beta Glass Plc

Job Purpose

• This role is responsible for effective receipts, storage, control and issuance of engineering, raw and packaging materials required to meet production target.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing layout & space management; effective warehouse keeping; work organization chart; procedures such as SOP as applicable.
• Manage stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Planning, Organizing and Controlling of store overall operations, maintaining end-to-end activities with all user departments.
• Put adequate measures and controls in place to ensure uninterrupted unloading of raw materials into Raw Materials Store.
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems within the section and responds to and deals with customer communication by email, fax and telephone as applicable.
• Ensure issuance of materials by rotating inventory (FIFO) to avoid obsolescence, expiry and loss of company resources.
• Maintain an up-to-date register and ensure tracker for materials on ‘returnable and non-returnable basis
• Ensure 100% shelf visibility and rack compliance by good manufacturing practice.
• Ensure prompt documentation of materials/items receipt by generating SRVs and dispatch same with suppliers' invoice(s) to Finance accordingly.
• Issue Inventory in line with policies and procedures. Report items receipts without LPOs, Obsolete Materials Report, dead stock report, Materials Consumption report, OVP Delivery Report, Materials Expiry Report.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any other related fields.

The Person Must:

• Have sound knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution
• Have good communication skills - oral and written
• Be a Female for gender balance.

Experience:

• 1- 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
