Cargo Warehouse Assistant at County Cargo

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Warehouse & Dispatch Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, handling, packaging, and dispatching goods while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards across all warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and accurately record all incoming shipments.
• Load, unload, move, and store goods safely and efficiently.
• Sort, organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy.
• Coordinate dispatch activities and delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure all shipping and dispatch documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
• Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and proper material handling procedures.
• Support the logistics team with general warehouse and dispatch operations as required.

Requirements

• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse goods safely.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and email.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
