    Assistant Security Supervisor

    Description

    • Conduct regular inspections and patrols of premises to ensure safety and compliance.
    • Monitor property entrances, authorizing entry for personnel and vehicles as needed.
    • Identify and report suspicious behaviors or incidents promptly.

    Power Plant Mechanical Technician

    Job Purpose

    • To perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of all rotating and static mechanical equipment in the refinery and associated power generation units (boilers, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.) to ensure continuous, safe, and reliable plant operation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out maintenance, overhaul, and alignment of rotating machinery such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and gearboxes.
    • Perform installation and maintenance of piping systems, valves, pressure vessels, and mechanical seals.
    • Execute preventive maintenance as per CMMS schedules 
    • Assist to diagnose mechanical faults using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis data.
    • Conduct maintenance on gas turbine auxiliary systems (lube oil, hydraulic, fuel, and cooling systems).
    • Assist in overhauls of gas turbines, combustion chambers, and steam turbines.
    • Support maintenance of boilers, condensers, and heat recovery steam generators (HRSG).
    • Fabricate and repair mechanical components, ensuring alignment and tolerance checks.
    • Participate in shutdown planning, execution, and commissioning of equipment.
    • Ensure adherence to refinery safety and permit-to-work (PTW) procedures.
    • Maintain records of maintenance jobs, parts used, and inspection findings.

    Qualifications

    • Trade Test 1/ National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
    • 5–10 years of maintenance experience in a refinery, petrochemical, or power generation plant.
    • Certification in Turbine Maintenance, API 610/617 Equipment, or similar is an advantage.

    Required Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance and alignment techniques.
    • Familiarity with gas turbine/thermal power plant mechanical systems 
    • Understanding of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics.
    • Ability to use laser alignment, torque wrenches, dial gauges, and vibration analyzers.
    • Knowledge of lubrication systems and reliability maintenance practices.

    Power Plant Instrumentation & Control Technician

    Job Purpose

    • To maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation, control systems, and automation equipment in the refinery and power plant areas to ensure optimum plant performance, product quality, and safety.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Calibrate and maintain field instruments: pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
    • Maintain analyzers (oxygen, hydrocarbon, pH, conductivity, etc.) and control valves (pneumatic/electric).
    • Perform loop checks and commissioning of instruments and DCS/PLC systems.
    • Troubleshoot control systems in gas turbine and boiler operations (fuel control, speed, load, temperature).
    • Maintain distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, and fieldbus networks (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet).
    • Support calibration of vibration sensors, speed probes, and thermocouples on turbine units.
    • Work with electrical and mechanical teams during plant shutdowns and startups.
    • Ensure correct configuration and data logging in control systems for process optimization.
    • Comply with refinery safety, hot work, and isolation procedures.
    • Maintain calibration records, loop drawings, and maintenance logs.

    Common Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities:

    • Strictly adhere to refinery HSE standards and permit-to-work systems.
    • Participate in job safety analysis (JSA), toolbox talks, and incident reporting.
    • Ensure use of appropriate PPE during maintenance work.
    • Support continuous improvement in reliability and energy efficiency programs.

    Qualifications

    • Trade Test 1/ National Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Control Engineering.
    • 5–10 years’ experience in a refinery, petrochemical, or power generation environment.
    • OEM or vendor-specific training in DCS/PLC systems preferred.

    Required Skills & Competencies:

    • Expertise in process instrumentation and control systems (Honeywell, Siemens, ABB, or Emerson).
    • Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control logic.
    • Knowledge of gas turbine instrumentation and combustion control systems.
    • Understanding of HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and smart instrument diagnostics.
    • Strong analytical and fault-finding ability in automation systems.

    Power Plant Electrical Technician

    Job Purpose

    • Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment in the refinery and power generation areas to ensure uninterrupted power supply and safe operation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and troubleshoot low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems (415 V, 6.6 kV, 11 kV).
    • Perform routine maintenance of switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, and generators.
    • Support power generation and distribution for gas turbine and HRSG systems.
    • Inspect and maintain excitation systems, battery banks, UPS, and protective relays.
    • Diagnose faults using multimeters, insulation testers, and relay testing equipment.
    • Maintain motor control circuits for pumps, fans, conveyors, and process units.
    • Assist in installation of new electrical panels, cable terminations, and earthing systems.
    • Carry out calibration and testing of protection relays and synchronization panels.
    • Ensure compliance with refinery electrical safety codes (LOTO, PTW).
    • Maintain documentation of all electrical maintenance work.

    Qualifications

    • Trade Test 1/ National Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering.
    • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in refinery, thermal, or gas turbine power plants.
    • Certification in Electrical Safety, HV Switching, or OEM turbine systems is desirable.

    Required Skills & Competencies:

    • Knowledge of electrical distribution in refinery or power plant environments.
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in motor control and turbine generator systems.
    • Familiarity with SCADA/DCS-integrated electrical control systems.
    • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, control schematics, and loop drawings.
    • Understanding of safety practices in hazardous/explosive areas (ATEX/IECEx).
