Medical Lab Scientist - Chemistry at Cypresshill Hospital

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Monitoring, reporting, recording changes and escalating critical values in patient laboratory results.
• Storing and setting up laboratory equipment
• Collecting samples: Collecting blood, tissue, and other samples from patients 
• Preparing samples: Labeling and preparing samples for testing 
• Running tests: Performing routine tests and analyzing samples 
• Recording data: Recording test data and results in patients' medical records 
• Operating equipment: Using and maintaining laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and cell counters 
• Reporting results: Discussing results and findings with physicians or supervisors 
• Ensuring quality control: Maintaining quality control of samples and adhering to laboratory standards 
• Maintaining records: Maintaining accurate records and reporting data 
• Matching blood: Matching blood for transfusions 
• Testing for drug levels: Testing for drug levels in the blood 

VERY IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS ---- 

• Must be able to proficiently use 5 parts hematology analyzer / semi-auto chemistry analyzer / FIA immunoassay machine / ISE machine / ABG analyzer and lab incubator for MCS
• Minimum of 3years working experience
