Area Sales Manager - Solar & Electrical Products at Global Profilers

Job Summary

• The Area Sales Manager will drive product sales within the division. Work to expand market reach in electrical and solar products. Manage key clients and generate leads.

Job Responsibilities

• Review sales price, to ensure that deviations from the plan are highlighted and corrective measures are taken.
• Visit clients’ premises on weekly basis for meetings and update deals to be closed.
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
• Develop and forecast sales plans and financial objectives for the branch while meeting sales targets and metrics.
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Grow customer segments in distribution, B2B, and other segments.
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
• Develop a sales team to increase revenue.
• Address unresolved/complex customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
• Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on company’s competitors’ activities in the territory.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients to generate avenues for further business.
• Formulate and develop effective strategies for training, recruitment, management development and succession planning, thus meeting the training need of the Sales team.
• Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all company’s policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc. Business Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7 - 8 years experience in sales of Solar & Electrical products.
• Successful track record in channel sales and negotiation.
• Good technical knowledge (solar & electrical products) with a strong sales profile.
• Mastery experience in sales techniques.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g.: Sales force).
• Ability to deliver presentations effectively.
