    Air Advisor

    About the Role

    • Present executive safety results.
    • Issue safety alerts in case of major deviations observed.
    • Ensure conformity with Group and legislative safety directives and rules pertaining to company aviation operations.
    • Perform regular HSE/SQM meetings with contractors.
    • Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE policy and application of TOTAL referential.
    • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and company HSE standards.
    • Actively participate in company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
    • Carry out incident/occurrence reports and analysis, keep track of aviation incidents in Synergi.
    • Perform regular audits and define action plans, as well as issue quality assurance reports.
    • Fulfill the role of specialist for aviation operations, providing advice and expertise for specifications of air support and technical inspections of aircraft (fixed and rotary wings).
    • Liaise with helicopter operating managers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
    • Participate in aviation strategy development.
    • Maintain accurate and satisfactory accounting, audit, and administration trail. Monitor the achievement of agreed objectives and corrective actions defined in the contractor audit plan.
    • Maintain ownership of company aviation procedures and ensure regular updates and improvements of the same. Also, make inputs to Group procedures where and when necessary.
    • Ensure maintenance of records and statistics in order to facilitate accurate reporting and KPIs. These records are used for cost allocation and invoice checking.
    • Provide progress reports to the company on NCAA-investigated safety incidents, insisting on thorough reporting.
    • Positively represent the company on external aviation forums.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an airline captain/pilot or maintenance engineering or operations or airworthiness manager in civil aviation.
    • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in an offshore helicopter company.
    • Hold an international aviation auditor certificate or have graduated from an air safety academy.
    • Possess a good knowledge of all developments in Nigerian aviation legislation, technical innovations, market developments, and performance levels. Keep line management advised and monitor the same.
    • Profile: Team-building awareness, multicultural awareness, environmental awareness, organization/anticipation skills, good command of the English language, and computer literacy.

    Site Lifting Specialist (SLS)

    About the Role

    • Continually liaise with the CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within the company are consistently respected across JV offshore sites.
    • Advise OML99, OML100, and OML102 RSES on issues related to lifting and handling operations.
    • Maintain constant communication with contractors to ensure their lifting equipment and operations align with TUCN’s lifting and handling procedures.
    • Conduct periodic lifting audits on OML99, OML100, and OML102.
    • Develop a rigging loft procedure and ensure that the rigging loft is properly and adequately controlled.
    • Work in conjunction with other lifting teams to ensure lifting equipment and standards are respected in day-to-day operations.
    • Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on-site, ensuring they are submitted for final review and approval by the CPLO.
    • Participate in JSAs of critical lifts and attend all critical lifts carried out within JV offshore.
    • Provide expertise in day-to-day handling and lifting activities on-site, including categorizing lifts, hazard identification and risk assessments, and technical review (lifting procedures and organizations).
    • Assist the CPLO during assessments of personnel competence in carrying out lifting and handling operations.
    • Ensure that toolbox talks are conducted by all personnel at the start of each critical lifting operation.
    • Perform technical inspections and evaluations of cranes and select lifting equipment proposed for use on-site.
    • Prepare generic lift plans and conduct periodic reviews.
    • Develop site lifting and handling procedures/instructions and ensure periodic reviews.
    • Coach and mentor personnel involved in lifting and handling operations (crane operators, riggers, etc.) on-site.
    • Liaise with company-approved third-party inspection companies for lifting equipment inspection and certification campaigns.

    Requirements

    • Technical Engineering Degree.
    • 3 years of verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations.
    • Possession of LEEA/NSL certification up to Level 4.
    • Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations within the affiliate.
    • Ability to prepare or review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.
    • Good knowledge of English.

    Well Performance Engineer

    About the Role
    Conduct functional roles related to well performance through the following tasks:

    • Prognosis of well potentials from the results of well tests and interpretations provided by the reservoir using the Prosper well model.
    • Follow up on actual well production or injection, while identifying well production shortfalls and analyzing their origins.
    • Coordinate reservoir, drilling/completion, and production multi-disciplinary expertise to propose curative actions for under-performing wells and quantify the expected benefits.
    • Schedule light well interventions considering production, drilling/completion, and reservoir requirements, and provide post-mortem analysis after corrective actions.
    • Maintain close contact with production operations to follow up on the day-to-day behavior of the wells and implement necessary adjustments.
    • Establish scope of requirements prior to any well completion or re-completion.
    • Regularly communicate with the Well Performance engineering department (FP) at the head office for technical support and feedback.
    • Implement procedures for well start-up and clean-up and update well performance indicators.
    • Determine well metering frequency and validate final test data.
    • Determine production allocation for each well.
    • Ensure the use of Prosper, IFM/IVM, MPG, or equivalent models for well modeling to update well potential.
    • Take responsibility for the statement of requirements for well performance monitoring, mechanical survey, and scale removal, along with the validation and interpretation of well performance and integrity data.
    • Take responsibility for the SOR of heavy well maintenance for productivity reasons and provide economic evaluations of heavy well maintenance.
    • Participate in the start-up of FCW (Full Control of Well) on the installations and ensure site (offshore) assistance to maintain usage of the system.
    • Optimize oil production via choke management and optimum gas lift injection.
    • Design gas lift injection systems for valve change-outs in installed mandrels and well restarts.
    • Manage water and gas injection systems in cooperation with the subsurface team.
    • Be physically on-site for well operations assistance.
    • Participate in sand management for individual wells and field-wide efforts.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
    • Professional experience of around 6 years in Oil & Gas production, including operational experience in reservoir,completion and stimulation or production
    • Good overview of the different parameters affecting the performance of a well, from the reservoir to the surface utilities.
