Continually liaise with the CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within the company are consistently respected across JV offshore sites.
Advise OML99, OML100, and OML102 RSES on issues related to lifting and handling operations.
Maintain constant communication with contractors to ensure their lifting equipment and operations align with TUCN’s lifting and handling procedures.
Conduct periodic lifting audits on OML99, OML100, and OML102.
Develop a rigging loft procedure and ensure that the rigging loft is properly and adequately controlled.
Work in conjunction with other lifting teams to ensure lifting equipment and standards are respected in day-to-day operations.
Review Lifting Operations Plans for all critical lifting or handling operations on-site, ensuring they are submitted for final review and approval by the CPLO.
Participate in JSAs of critical lifts and attend all critical lifts carried out within JV offshore.
Provide expertise in day-to-day handling and lifting activities on-site, including categorizing lifts, hazard identification and risk assessments, and technical review (lifting procedures and organizations).
Assist the CPLO during assessments of personnel competence in carrying out lifting and handling operations.
Ensure that toolbox talks are conducted by all personnel at the start of each critical lifting operation.
Perform technical inspections and evaluations of cranes and select lifting equipment proposed for use on-site.
Prepare generic lift plans and conduct periodic reviews.
Develop site lifting and handling procedures/instructions and ensure periodic reviews.
Coach and mentor personnel involved in lifting and handling operations (crane operators, riggers, etc.) on-site.
Liaise with company-approved third-party inspection companies for lifting equipment inspection and certification campaigns.
Requirements
Technical Engineering Degree.
3 years of verifiable experience in lifting and handling operations.
Possession of LEEA/NSL certification up to Level 4.
Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of all types of lifting equipment and operations within the affiliate.
Ability to prepare or review lifting engineering calculations and risk assessments.
