    Warehouse Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of power products, including inverters, batteries, solar panels, etc. This role ensures that warehouse operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards, while maintaining accurate inventory and supporting smooth logistics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse management, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of technical/electrical products.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and manage warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery, accurate stock levels, and effective space utilization.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
    • Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive power equipment and products in accordance with safety standards.
    • Monitor inventory levels and reconcile stock discrepancies; conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
    • Maintain warehouse documentation including goods received notes, dispatch records, inventory reports, and delivery logs.
    • Implement and oversee safety and security procedures to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
    • Work with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless flow of goods and timely customer deliveries.
    • Operate and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory tracking tools.
    • Ensuring adherence to company processes and policies.
    • Coordinate vehicle loading/unloading, route planning for deliveries, and liaise with transport vendors as required.

    Skills Requirement

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Proven leadership and team management experience.
    • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehousing best practices, and safety standards.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

    Qualifications

    Educational Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, a Technical or any related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in a warehouse/logistics operations.
    • Proven experience with Power Product is an added advantage.
