Warehouse Checker Premium Edible Oil Product Limited at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

To ensure that the correct quantities of Finished goods are dispatched and the correct quantities of Packaging materials are supplied to production.

THE JOB

• Detect and prevent overloading under loading of company product.
• Monitor the arrangement and stacking of product in the warehouse to ensure effective space management.
• Undertake monthly stock taking of products within the warehouse and update the stock records to aid management forecasting.
• Ensure that forklifts and conveyors are in good working conditions, and ensure good housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Report problems with regard to the food safety management system to the food safety Team/Leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.
• Understand the company’s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong attention to detail to detect and prevent loading discrepancies.
• Possess good knowledge of warehouse operations, stacking methods, and space management.
• Demonstrate sound understanding of stock management, inventory control, and record keeping.
• Be physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a related role.
