Video Editor and Graphic Designer at Darkpore Media Africa

We are seeking a versatile and creative Video Editor/Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various platforms including social media, websites, and presentations. Additionally, you will utilize your graphic design skills to create visually engaging assets to complement our video content and overall brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with project objectives and brand guidelines.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
• Create custom graphics, thumbnails, and other visual assets for video promotion and distribution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new editing techniques to continually improve video quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or After Effects.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity in storytelling through visual media.
• A portfolio showcasing your video editing and graphic design skills is required.
