Veterinary Consultant at Farm Innovation Nigeria Limited

• We are seeking applications from qualified candidates for the role of Consultant (Veterinary) to support the implementation of its ongoing project on animal and livestock management. 
• We are seeking recent graduates of veterinary studies to support a short-term project focused on reviewing and validating veterinary materials. 
• This role is ideal for individuals with strong research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review, fact-check, and validate existing veterinary content on our platforms for accuracy and relevance in line with the veterinary best practices.
• Develop content on disease diagnosis, prevention, and management for other animal/livestock not currently on our platform.
• Conduct research to ensure materials align with current veterinary standards and best practices.
• Work with a cross-functional team, to improve our product offerings. 
• This may include but not restricted to provision of inputs on technical partnership opportunities.  
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements for clarity and correctness.

Qualification and Experience

• A recent graduate with a basic qualification in Veterinary Medicine and registered with Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
• Minimum of 2 Years Post DVM Qualification at an accredited college of veterinary medicine.
• The ideal candidate should be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Nigeria.
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• IT-savvy and comfortable using online research tools and digital documents.
• Experience of working in a veterinary/animal health service establishment will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

• The opportunity offers the selected candidate an opportunity to work remotely, however the candidate would be expected to make themselves available for meetings or product review sessions.
