Treasury and Investment Officer at Prudential Zenith Life Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise and coordinate with Other Investment Officers and Bank staff in order to obtain inforrnation about current market facets and investable assets for the organization.
• Prepare project appraisal for presentation to the department review cornmittees, sglior managernent and finally to the Board of (tvlonthly invstrnent operations report)
• Justification of Investments, approvals from the finance director arxi the operations committee.
• Prepare and process payment approvals to funds for investments
• Continuous rmney market analysis and outlook, industry trerxis and Proposals on investment opportunities in fix«l income securities, money market securities, «lutties and estate.
• Undertake work On aspects Of invgtrne.ts and developrnent and align them with institutional objectives. Contribute to and coordinate in the investmenes inputs development of strategies at regional level. Provide input comments on project, and other papers relat«i to sector operations and development acros a range of key themes and sectors
• Knowledgeable with the conuxrnys internal invgtment plicy arx_i the regulator, NAICOMS policy on investments
• Evaluate, structure, negotiate, and nevv with a strong focus on credit and asset quality (include
• processing mandates, due dilÉetue negotiating term sheets and other cbcumentation, syndications and Board approval).
• Daily Ikluklity regnt on fiJnds avaihble in the company's accounts.
• Treasury Mamga-nent: ensuring ffflds are to cover operating and investment activities
• Obtaining high quality investments in terms of credit rating and returns which align with the short arxi term investment objectives of the business
• Ad«luate knowledge of the company's products to ensure liabilities are adequately with assets Contribute to the docurnentation of lesq'ns from investrnent operations errwging best practkes in areas of expertise.
• Records Of amortization schedule for investment assets and Computation of monthly investment income on invstment assets
• Rlrticipate in and contribute to activities for advocacy, disseminathn and knowledge building relating tinvestments/operations, products and initiatives.
• Provide peer review to other colleagues to share industry and information on re.lk-ctive sectors.
• AssSt in the development of the Industrnlization
• Department's knowledge strategy and assist in execution of this strategy.
• Coordinate closely with *Kial, environmental, advisory and technical assistance colleagues in order to charnpion value to our clients' businesses, find pragmatic %'lutions to the sector ctullenges, and achieve sustairuble development impact

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Affiliate, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Experience:

• Three (3) Years cognate experience in a similar role

• Organized multi-tasking; able to handle more than one task simultaneously
• Ability to process sensitive data and handle all correspondence and dictation with uncompromised integrity and competence.
