    Tax Associate

    Job Description:

    • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert tax advice, managing compliance tasks, and supporting our clients in navigating complex tax regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive tax due diligence to clients across various industries.
    • Prepare tax returns and related filings in respect of relevant taxes, such as Companies Income Tax, Withholding Tax, Value Added Tax, Capital Gain Tax, and Personal Income Tax.
    • Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
    • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide actionable insights to clients.
    • Support clients in tax audits, and tax investigation and liaise with relevant tax authorities.
    • Register new companies with the tax station and obtain its initial tax clearance certificate.
    • Prepare client's monthly, quarterly, and yearly management report/ financial statement.
    • Develop strong client relationships and excellent service delivery.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service offerings and drive firm growth.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class upper degree or HND with an upper credit in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CITN) is an added advantage.
    • 2-3 years of experience in tax consulting, accounting, or related roles.
    • Solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws, regulatory frameworks, and compliance.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Client Service and Communication.
    • Confidentiality and Discretion.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
