    Talent Acquisition Support

    Job Purpose

    • You will support end-to-end recruitment processes by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment tracking systems, and ensuring timely hiring outcomes across Evidence Action's Nigeria operations for 3 months. You will report directly to the Nigeria Country HR Representative and will not have any direct reports in this role.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job posting, application screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.
    • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and organizational fit.
    • Maintain accurate recruitment tracking systems and provide regular pipeline updates to the HR team and hiring managers.
    • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring panels, ensuring smooth logistics and communication.
    • Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Support onboarding preparation including documentation collection and verification.
    • Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and compliant with organizational policies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles
    • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and candidate assessment techniques
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to professional correspondence
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferred)
    • Previous experience in NGO/nonprofit sector (preferred)
