You will support end-to-end recruitment processes by screening candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruitment tracking systems, and ensuring timely hiring outcomes across Evidence Action's Nigeria operations for 3 months. You will report directly to the Nigeria Country HR Representative and will not have any direct reports in this role.
Duties And Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruitment activities including job posting, application screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and organizational fit.
Maintain accurate recruitment tracking systems and provide regular pipeline updates to the HR team and hiring managers.
Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring panels, ensuring smooth logistics and communication.
Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Support onboarding preparation including documentation collection and verification.
Ensure recruitment documentation is complete and compliant with organizational policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition roles
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and candidate assessment techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to professional correspondence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (preferred)
Previous experience in NGO/nonprofit sector (preferred)
