    Talent Acquisition Manager

    Job Function

    • Responsible for defining and executing all strategies, frameworks, policies and procedures relating to talent acquisition, talent management and performance management. Partner and collaborate across the business in the definition of talent and performance management practices and initiatives to enable business priorities, acquisition, succession and retention of talent. Ensure that the business has the right quality and quantity of talents in the right roles at the right time in line with the business objectives.

    Key Performance Areas:

    Talent Acquisition:

    • Manage job requisition requests with HOD/ hiring managers and align on role peculiarities.
    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand current and future work demands and develop appropriate strategies to ensure a sufficient candidate supply.
    • Conduct full cycle recruitment - including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection of candidate and conducting reference checks.
    • Develop a robust candidate pipeline, moving candidates along the pipeline.
    • Administers internal and external job postings using a variety of platforms including social media and provide qualified candidates to hiring managers.
    • Ensure an ideal candidate experience consistent with company values.
    • Manage own list of referrals for potential candidates and maintain relationships.
    • Develop and maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships for recruiting efforts.

    Talent & Performance Management:

    • Design and deploy talent management strategies, policies, practices and procedures in line with business priorities and growth
    • Design practices to identify, manage, retain top talents and develop a succession pipeline for critical roles
    • Develop and implement a talent development programme that drives career enhancement and personal development in collaboration with the relevant COE.
    • Lead the conversations on talent calibration and pipeline development and reporting for the business.
    • Own and lead the performance management process and workflow for the business.
    • Ensure all talent and performance management practices, templates and guides are updated and aligned with the group.
    • Execute goal setting, cascading, monitoring and review practice in collaboration with the Head of Functions.
    • Provide advice, guidance and support regarding issues related to performance management and recommendations on managing bell curve extremes of poor and top performance.
    • Ensure the integration and alignment across the talent and performance management practices to drive a meaningful integrated employee experience
    • Own and drive the HR talent and performance calendar with the business leaders.

    Other:

    • Take the lead in ensuring implementation and compliance to talent and development guidelines, policies, and statutory requirements in matters of talent acquisition, talent and performance management.
    • HR Analytics and Reporting - Build, generate and communicate dashboard reporting metrics.
    • Coordinate and supports new hire on-boarding activities to ensure employee engagement from hiring to onboarding.
    • Assist with organizing and facilitating monthly townhall (family) meetings.
    • Support the implementation of change initiatives to support enhanced organizational effectiveness by looking out for and new hires who are change driven.
    • Promote a culture of safety and align with MDS HSEQ policy and guidelines.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND.

    Experience and Skills Required:

    • At least 5-8 years in HR function.
    • Experience with ATS / HRIS preferred but not required.
