Switchboard Operators – Hospitality at a Reputable Company

The Switchboard Operator will manage incoming and outgoing telephone communications while providing professional, efficient and courteous assistance to guests and callers.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments or guest rooms.
• Take and relay accurate messages.
• Provide callers with general information as authorized.
• Handle guest telephone requests and enquiries.
• Maintain appropriate call records where required.
• Coordinate wake-up calls and other telephone-related guest services.
• Escalate complaints and urgent requests appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Work closely with Front Office and Guest Relations teams.
• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette at all times.

Requirements

• OND/HND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hotel, call centre, front office or customer-service environment is desirable.
• Excellent spoken English and telephone etiquette.
• Clear and pleasant communication style.
• Good computer literacy.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Salary: ₦100,000–₦150,000 monthly
