Supply Chain/Procurement Manager at International Energy Services Limited (IESL)

Job Summary:

• We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Procurement Manager to interface with OEMs and manage procurement of equipment and logistics support services for our clients in oil and gas exploration, production, refining, LNG, and major contracting sectors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with global OEMs and suppliers.
• Lead strategic sourcing, vendor relationship management, cost-reduction initiatives to support rapid business growth and high-pressure project deadlines.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements for equipment supply and logistics services
• Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and cost optimization
• Coordinate logistics support services, including transportation and warehousing
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements with a view to maintaining high quality standards and minimize risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement processes for drilling, maintenance and technical equipment.
• Proactively identify vulnerabilities in the supply chain (e.g. single-source risks, logistical constraints) and implement contingency plans.

Educational Qualifications & Skills

• Good university degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Sciences.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management, with focus on oil and gas equipment and logistics.
• Good understanding of EPCI project requirements, rotating equipment, drilling tools, OCTG, and MRO.
• Proven track record of managing OEM relationships and complex procurement projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, MCIPS) a plus.
• Must possess analytical rigour with strong capability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions
• MBA degree will be an added advantage.
