    Supply Chain Coordinator

    Summary of Job Function

    The Supply Chain Coordinator ensures a smooth flow of materials, equipment, and services from suppliers to project sites. The role oversees procurement, logistics, and vendor coordination to support Sunhive’s renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

    Responsibilities

    Procurement & Vendor Management

    • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, components, and services.
    • Obtain competitive quotations and prepare comparison analyses for management approval.
    • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
    • Maintain an updated supplier database and track vendor performance.
    • Work closely with Finance on payment schedules and procurement documentation.

    Logistics & Coordination

    • Plan and track movement of materials from suppliers to Sunhive stores and project sites.
    • Coordinate with the Inventory & Store Officer to ensure stock availability and timely dispatch.
    • Monitor transportation costs, delivery schedules, and service quality.
    • Resolve delivery or quality issues promptly and maintain proper records.

    Compliance & Reporting

    • Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies.
    • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and audit trails.
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports on procurement status, spend, and supplier metrics.
    • Recommend improvements for supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics (solar/engineering sector preferred).
    • Strong negotiation, organizational, and vendor management skills.
    • Proficiency in Google Sheets and/or inventory management software.
    • Understanding of local and international procurement standards.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
