Supervisor - Project Services at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Purpose

• To support the operations by participating in receipt, installation, decommissioning and testing of new plants, repairs for efficient delivery of quality jobs and liaising with the service manager mechanical- project and all relevant stakeholders in Honeywell, Apapa.

The Job

• Carry out periodic inspection of third-party machines under your purview using lay-down check lists to ensure optimum operational efficiency and promptly report deviations to the service providers for immediate attention.
• Participate in the receipt, installation and testing of new plant, machinery or accessories to confirm specifications.
• Prepare relevant activity report for the attention of the project manager.
• Ensure good housekeeping and maintenance of machinery/equipment in compliance with GMP and HSE standards.
• Ensure technicians adhere strictly to professional statutory and regulatory requirements in safe use of tools.

Qualifications

• OND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years relevant experience in project management.

The Person Must:

• Have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of plant machinery, equipment inspection, and maintenance procedures.
• Exhibit strong leadership and supervisory skills to ensure technicians adhere strictly to statutory, regulatory, and HSE requirements.
• Be knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
