Strategy Analyst at Maurice Xandra Solutions

Job Summary:

Our Client, a major player in the Educational Industry, is currently looking to hire a Strategy Analyst whom will be responsible for supporting the company’s Project Management office in developing and executing the company’s program rollout plan. 

The Strategy Analyst will work closely with the Director, Project Management Office to identify the needs of the company, and develop the plans, priority and series of decisions needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to actualize the company’s strategic objectives
• Identify, aggregate, and analyze data including trends that will inform strategic options
• Model out scenarios and perform necessary financial analysis that will drive decision making
• Create business performance evaluation reports
• Review and monitor key program metrics to ensure targets are met
• Assist with the coordination of work plans, deliverables, and activities across several functions
• Support the preparation of memos, reports, presentations etc. to the Board
• Prepare positioning documents such as concept notes, proposals, executive letters, and presentations to external stakeholders
• Support the company’s initiative resource planning and utilization exercises
• Develop and implement ways to efficiently and effective track tasks and deliverables including managing the PMO task management tool
• Support the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of vendor and partner agreements
• Fulfil adhoc tasks as may be required from time to time    

 Skills and Knowledge Competence Requirements:

• Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively and concisely present key findings
• Strong research skills and exceptional knowledge of global trends especially in the education space
• Strong work ethic, drive, and energy to manage and deliver key strategic initiatives
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to support concurrent projects, prioritize competing tasks, and work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Able to work in a start-up environment and across different hierarchy levels
• Positive attitude and demonstrated commitment to excellence
• Ability to build trust and work respectfully with team members and other Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information
• Resourceful and proactive working style    

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analyst or strategy role
