Store Manager at Petcare Animal Hospital

Petcare Animal Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day inventory operations of our veterinary store. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking all medical supplies, pet products, and consumables to ensure a seamless flow of operations within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock and supplies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the stockroom or warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders when stock is low.
• Issue supplies to veterinary staff and update records accordingly.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all medical and pet-related items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and delivery personnel as needed.
• Generate periodic inventory reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proven experience in a storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse role (experience in a medical or veterinary setting is an added advantage).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Integrity and a high sense of responsibility.
