    Store and Packing Officer

    Roles & Responsibilities
    Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
    • Perform regular stock checks and reconcile with physical inventory.
    • Monitor stock levels and notify the procurement team when reordering is necessary.
    • Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) for various items.

    Receiving Goods:

    • Inspect goods upon arrival for quantity and quality.
    • Ensure proper documentation (e.g., delivery notes, invoices, GRNs) is completed.
    • Label and store received items in designated storage areas.
    • Carry Product from the Bus to the warehouse

    Packing & Dispatch:

    • Pack products accurately and securely according to specifications.
    • Ensure packaging materials are available and properly used.
    • Label packages correctly with shipping and product details.
    • Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch and delivery.

    Order Fulfillment:

    • Pick and pack items according to customer or production orders.
    • Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and well-presented before dispatch.
    • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required.

    Warehouse Organization:

    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store and packing area.
    • Organize storage areas for easy access and safety.
    • Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other inventory rotation methods as needed.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Keep records of materials in and out of the store.
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
    • Report damaged or expired items promptly.

    Compliance & Safety:

    • Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
    • Ensure that all materials are stored safely to prevent accidents or damage.
    • Participate in safety drills and basic training as required.

    Coordination:

    • Liaise with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
    • Assist in audits and physical verification of stock when required.

    Requirements

    • The candidates should possess a minimum of SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 1 - 2 years work experience.
