Responsibilities

Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
• Evaluate and assess supplier capabilities, performance, and reliability.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Sourcing Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet project needs.
• Analyse cost structures and recommend cost-effective sourcing solutions.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and manage supplier contracts to ensure adherence to terms.

Cost Analysis and Optimization:

• Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with suppliers to optimize pricing and terms.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency in the supply chain.

Supply Chain Coordination:

• Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Proactively address any supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sourcing activities.

Market Trends and Risk Management:

• Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics.
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain.
• Recommend strategies to address potential challenges and uncertainties.

Qualification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Sourcing Analyst or in a similar procurement role within the engineering industry.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
