Job Description

• We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified, and dedicated Sociology Educator to join our Humanities/Social Sciences department.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students across both WAEC and IGSC frameworks, inspiring a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full academic potential.

Requirements

• A relevant Bachelor's degree/Master's preferred in Sociology or a related field.
• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, or equivalent international qualification).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching Sociology within a British curriculum (IGCSE and/or A-Level) international school setting.
• Secure knowledge of the relevant IGCSE specifications and assessment requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and high proficiency in using educational technology.
• An interest in or experience with teaching other social science subjects (e.g., Psychology, Criminology).
