We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified, and dedicated Sociology Educator to join our Humanities/Social Sciences department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students across both WAEC and IGSC frameworks, inspiring a love for the subject and helping students achieve their full academic potential.
Requirements
A relevant Bachelor's degree/Master's preferred in Sociology or a related field.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, or equivalent international qualification).
Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching Sociology within a British curriculum (IGCSE and/or A-Level) international school setting.
Secure knowledge of the relevant IGCSE specifications and assessment requirements.
Strong oral and written communication skills and high proficiency in using educational technology.
An interest in or experience with teaching other social science subjects (e.g., Psychology, Criminology).
