Role Objective

• The ultimate objective of the Social Media Manager is to transform the organization's social channels from simple promotional pages into active digital communities that consistently showcase the experience of the destination, attract the right audiences, stimulate enquiries and contribute directly to customer visits, bookings and revenue.

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, energetic, camera-confident and highly organised Social Media Manager to manage and grow the digital presence of a multi-experience hospitality, food and entertainment destination.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging social content, interacting with customers online, covering activities and events, presenting selected video content, and consistently communicating the lifestyle and experiences offered by the brand.
• This is not purely a back-office social media role. The Social Media Manager will regularly participate in content production and may serve as one of the recognisable digital faces of the brand across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the brand's daily, weekly and monthly social media content plans.
• Manage Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and other approved social platforms.
• Create engaging content around hospitality, accommodation, dining, entertainment, recreation, events and guest experiences.
• Participate confidently in videos, interviews, walkthroughs, promotional content and other on-camera productions when required.
• Develop short-form video concepts, reels, TikTok videos, stories and behind-the-scenes content.
• Work closely with videographers, photographers, graphic designers and the wider marketing team.
• Cover events, promotions, guest activities and important happenings in real time.
• Write engaging captions, promotional messages and social-media copy consistent with the brand voice.
• Respond professionally to comments, messages, enquiries and customer interactions.
• Encourage conversations and build an active online community around the brand.
• Identify trending topics, sounds, formats and content opportunities relevant to the target audience.
• Support promotional campaigns for accommodation, restaurants, entertainment facilities, events and other business units.
• Maintain a consistent brand image across all social platforms.
• Monitor competitors, hospitality trends, lifestyle trends and entertainment content within Lagos and the wider Nigerian market.
• Track social-media performance and prepare regular reports covering reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, enquiries, leads and conversions.
• Identify successful content formats and recommend improvements based on performance data.
• Work with the Digital Growth, SEO/Search and Creative teams to support broader marketing objectives.
• Maintain an organized library of approved photos, videos and other digital assets.
• Ensure content is posted according to agreed schedules and campaigns.
• Protect the reputation of the organisation by ensuring that all published content meets approved brand and communication standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma, HND, Bachelor's degree or relevant professional training in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Public Relations, Business, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.
• Previous experience managing social media accounts for hospitality, entertainment, lifestyle, food, travel, fashion or consumer-facing brands is an advantage.
• A portfolio demonstrating previous social media content, campaigns, video presentation, or account management will be highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of short-form video content.
• Strong knowledge of social-media trends and audience behaviour.

• Basic video-editing knowledge using tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar applications.
