Skilled Maintenance Personnel at Greywood Hotels and Apartments

Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Personnel to ensure the proper upkeep of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems.
• The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to guarantee a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, fixtures, and fittings.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in setting up equipment or facilities for events and functions.
• Report major maintenance issues or hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and storage areas.
• Support other departments with technical assistance as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• OND, HND, or vocational/technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hotel, facility, or property maintenance (preferred).
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift, bend, and work in varying conditions.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
