Site Engineer at DreamCity Properties

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule jobs for workers/artisans.
• Organize and monitor daily operations on-site.
• Adhere to the project's time schedule and re-plan as necessary to guarantee that the project is completed on time.
• Read and interpret drawings, making required corrections.
• To inspect the workers'/artisans' work for quality.
• Ascertain that all employees adhere to the safety policy and laws.
• Assist and supervise the Safety Officer.
• Attend to clients' needs in the absence of the Site Coordinator/Project Manager.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure the task is completed to Elalan standards.
• On-site, notify the Site Coordinator/Project Manager of daily activities and grievances.
• Singing material requisitions.
• Supervise the site's cleanliness and condition.
• Ascertain that all employees, including yourself, adhere to the company's safety policy and regulations when performing their jobs.

Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

• Higher National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Building Technology or Equivalent+ COREN Accreditation
• Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate construction experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervising role.

• The capability of comprehending and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Capacity to think creatively as well as logically in order to address design and development difficulties.
• Must be able to maintain safety standards and adhere to the criteria of the Company's health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• Must be capable of taking reasonable care of one's own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of others on the job.
• Must be capable of ensuring that quality control requirements are adhered to and documented in accordance with the specification.
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, or a comparable programme.
