Senior UX Designer at Leadway Assurance Company

Role Overview

• We are a leading insurance organization developing next-generation line of business applications for General, Life and Health Insurance.
• As the Senior UX Designer, you will design intuitive user flows and create detailed design systems for a multi-tenant, cloud-based core insurance platform.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end policy lifecycle management, workflow configuration, and ensure that the experience is user-friendly and visually cohesive.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Systems & Branding: Develop robust design systems that support white-labeling for multiple insurance entities, ensuring consistency and responsiveness.
• UX Best Practices: Leverage user-centric methodologies to streamline complex workflows (claims, underwriting, reinsurance) into engaging interfaces.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with QA, front-end developers, and product owners to validate and refine designs.
• Accessibility & Usability: Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines and usability best practices, especially for a wide range of user roles (brokers, underwriters, policyholders).
• Documentation & Hand-Off: Create clear design documentation and prototypes, guiding front-end developers on UI implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Proficiency with design/prototyping tools such as Figma.

Experience

• 5+ years of UX/UI design in enterprise SaaS or complex web application.
• Proven track record with design systems for large-scale, multi-tenant platforms.

• Ability to handle multiple sprints simultaneously with rapid iteration.
