Senior Service Engineer (Lagos) at Mantrac Nigeria Ltd

JOB OUTLINE:

• To effectively plan and meet the maintenance tequirements of equipment managed under the contract

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tests and inspects machines to locate cause of malftnction_
• Removes and correctly installs all from/ to machines, follo-wing cotyect procedures as laid down the appropriate service manuals.
• Cleans disassembled pmts and inspects them for reusability.
• Disassembles and correctly reassembles machme components following procedures laid down in the appropriate sevice
• Ensures that all pmts or&red are correct and are from tlr latest SIS that particularly applies to the machine model and
• He should able to use the tools that are required for testing and evaluating electrical and electronics components of
• Caterpillar products
• Trouble shoot and repair Caterpillar equipment and power generators and related con4)0trnt.s, diesel engine system
• problems, such as hiel system, air Induction and cooling systems.
• He should be able to use the latest Caterpillar diagnostic tools like, E _ T, IPad, etc.
• Prepares accurate and timely service reports for the jobs he completed and submits them on time
• He IS responsible to repott inunediately to his supervisor any failures/damages on pans or tools, or parts lost on the jobs he is carrying out.
• Makes sue that unused parts, if any, are returned to the warehouse before the job is closed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• HND/ First Degree in Mechanical Engineering field with 2 years of field experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years ' work experience on maintenance of earth-moving machinery and power generators in the workshop and field.
• Strong understanding of all technical literatures and electrical drawings.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English
• Strong computer skills.
