    Senior SAP EPM and ERP Support Specialist

    Job Summary

    • The Senior SAP EPM and ERP Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical and functional support for SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and SAP ERP systems.
    • The role ensures system availability, performance optimization, integration, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications supporting finance, procurement, supply chain, maintenance, human resources, and corporate reporting functions. The position also provides expert guidance on SAP-related projects, upgrades, implementations, system enhancements, and user support while ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

    Key Responsibilities
    SAP EPM and ERP Support:

    • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP EPM and ERP applications.
    • Monitor application performance and proactively resolve system issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, service requests, and system defects.
    • Manage SAP system configurations, enhancements, patches, upgrades, and releases.
    • Support budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation, financial reporting, and performance management processes.
    • Ensure system reliability, integrity, and availability across all supported SAP platforms.
    • Coordinate with SAP vendors, consultants, and support partners for issue resolution and system improvements.

    Functional and Technical Responsibilities:

    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
    • Configure and maintain SAP EPM and ERP modules based on business needs.
    • Support integration between SAP EPM, SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and other enterprise systems.
    • Develop functional specifications and support technical development activities.
    • Participate in system testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation support.
    • Manage master data governance and data quality improvement initiatives.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Project Implementation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Participate in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and transformation projects.
    • Support business process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Assist in developing SAP roadmaps and system enhancement strategies.
    • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system integration testing activities.
    • Provide recommendations to improve application performance, user experience, and business efficiency.

    User Support and Knowledge Management:

    • Provide technical and functional support to end users.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for SAP users and business stakeholders.
    • Develop user manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer and competency development programs for local IT personnel.
    • Maintain support documentation, procedures, and system records.

    Governance, Risk, and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and internal control requirements.
    • Support audit activities and implementation of audit recommendations.
    • Manage user access controls and segregation of duties requirements.
    • Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing.
    • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
    • SAP professional certifications in EPM, ERP, SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA, or related modules preferred.
    • Additional IT certifications are advantageous.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in SAP ERP and enterprise application support environments.
    • Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience supporting SAP EPM solutions and SAP ERP modules.
    • Proven experience in SAP implementation, migration, enhancement, and support projects.
    • Extensive experience supporting finance, budgeting, planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes.
    • Experience working in multinational organizations and complex enterprise environments.
    • International project experience is highly preferred.
    • Experience in the oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, or related industries is an advantage.

    Required Certifications:

    • SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional Certification.
    • SAP EPM/BPC Certification (preferred).
    • SAP S/4HANA Certification (advantageous).
    • ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).
    • Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (advantageous).

    Technical Skills:

    • Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions.
    • Strong expertise in SAP ERP modules such as FI, CO, MM, PM, SD, HR/HCM, and related modules.
    • Experience with SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments.
    • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and middleware platforms.
    • Familiarity with database management, reporting tools, and enterprise architecture concepts.
    • Strong understanding of business process automation and enterprise systems integration.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

    Competencies:

    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Strong customer service and user support orientation.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Additional Requirements:

    • Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation and digitalization initiatives.
    • Proven capability in mentoring and transferring technical knowledge to local personnel.
    • Experience integrating SAP solutions with third-party business applications.
    • Strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead SAP support teams and manage critical business systems.
