Senior Programmes Officer at Global Youth Skills Acquisition & Poverty Eradication Organization (GYSAPEO)

Currently, we seek a passionate and experienced Senior Programmes Officer to lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of programs aligning with our vision. This role is instrumental in driving the organization\'s mission by creating impactful initiatives that empower youths, women, and children across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the implementation of strategic programmes and initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify community needs and design solutions that align with GYSAPEO’s mission.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance to ensure sustainability and efficiency.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to programme teams, cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for assigned programs.
• Represent GYSAPEO at events, forums, and networking opportunities to build partnerships and secure funding.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master\'s preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management, preferably within the development or non-profit sector.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful development programs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
• Commitment to GYSAPEO\'s vision and values.
