Senior Planning Manager H/F at Ponticelli Nigeria

• We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Planning Manager to join our project team in Nigeria. The successful candidate will lead all planning and scheduling activities for a major Oil & Gas project, ensuring timely execution, strategic planning oversight, and effective coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• This position is critical to the success of our operations and requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities :

• develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) ;
• lead schedule baselining and ensure adherence to planning procedures and change‑control processes ;
• monitor project progress, analyze deviations, and implement mitigation or recovery plans ;
• prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, KPIs, dashboards, and critical path updates ;
• conduct schedule risk analysis and provide data‑driven recommendations to project leadership ;
• coordinate planning activities with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders ;
• lead planning review meetings and contribute to decision‑making at project leadership level ;
• ensure documentation accuracy for audits, claims, and contractual reporting.

Profile Wanted

• You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, with at least 6 year experience in a Senior Planning/Project Controls role on large-scale Oil & Gas or EPC projects.
