About the Role

• A reputable law firm based in Ikoyi is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Associate to join its team immediately.
• The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex legal matters with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice across corporate, commercial, and litigation matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and agreements
• Represent clients in court and liaise with regulatory authorities where necessary
• Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Manage client relationships and deliver high-quality legal services
• Supervise and mentor junior associates

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years post-call experience
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law (litigation experience is an added advantage)
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be based in Lagos or willing to relocate immediately.
