Develop and implement IT governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to establish IT governance standards that support the organization's strategic goals.
Manage and monitor the IT operations, ensuring they are reliable, efficient, and secure.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems.
Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures, and identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses in the organization's IT infrastructure and applications.
Oversee the management of hardware, software, and other IT infrastructure components.
Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring it aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to ensure the organization's IT systems remain relevant and effective.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and support.
Conduct regular IT audits based on guidelines outlined.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least five (5) years of experience across the following IT roles (governance, operations, and cybersecurity) with a proven track record of success
Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), Cybercrime Act, and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines.
Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and techniques
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
