About the Role

• We are looking for a Senior HR professional to lead and manage all aspects of human resources within our retail operations. The ideal candidate will drive HR strategy, talent management, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention for all retail staff.
• Oversee performance management, appraisals, and employee development programs.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
• Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
• Support management in workforce planning and HR budgeting.
• Maintain HR metrics, reports, and dashboards for informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7-8 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or supermarket operations.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with HR systems, payroll, and performance management tools.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
