Senior HR Manager at Sujimoto Construction Limited

• We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior HR Manager to provide strategic leadership across all human resources functions. He/She will drive organizational excellence by aligning people strategy with business objectives, strengthening leadership capability, building a strong talent pipeline, driving employee engagement, and fostering a performance-driven culture that reflects on the company’s brand positioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and executive talent acquisition initiatives.
• Oversee and enhance performance management systems, KPIs, and appraisal frameworks.
• Provide strategic oversight on employee relations, engagement, and retention programs.
• Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal policies.
• Design and manage competitive compensation, payroll coordination, and benefits structures.
• Champion leadership development and continuous learning initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership on all HR matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Nigerian labor regulations and HR governance.
• Proven track record of building high-performance and scalable teams.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and workforce planning capabilities.
