Senior Finance Officer at Howbury School Lagos

Job Description

• Oversee and manage daily accounting and finance functions
• Responsible for ensuring ongoing general financial administration services and cash management.
• Responsible for all aspects of financial management of the school
• Plan and implement systems for financial operations Including systems for cash flow management, budgeting, consolidation of accounting information, internal controls, financial reporting and record keeping
• Handle all tax reconciliation matters
• Maintain banking relations
• Prepare monthly, quarterlyand annual standard accounting submissions for management
• Ensure compliance to Howbury financial policies
• Provide a high standard of service in key financial accounting operational functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Banking operations
• Prepare balance sheets and process invoices
• Review and implement financial policies
• Participate in financial audits.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 15 years relevant work experience.
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Advanced MS Excel Skills
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Experienceusing accounting software will be an advantage
• Strong work ethics and ability manage confidential information
• Professional qualification like ICAN or ACCA is required
• The ideal person must be a Proactive Problem Solver, goal getter, resilient and have the ability to remain calm in pressured moments.

Salary
N90,000 - N115,000 Monthly.
