Senior Finance Officer at AllFlavors Supreme Foods

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Finance Officer to join our dynamic team.The Senior Finance Officerplays a key role in managing the financialsof the company by overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, cost analysis, and compliance functions.
• The role ensures accurate financial records, supports strategic decision-making, and ensures adherence to regulatory and internal financial policies.
• The ideal candidate brings experience in cost accounting, budgeting for production processes, and financial oversight in a manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management &Reporting:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance, variances, and profitability by product line or production unit.
• Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure the timely closing of financial periods.

Compliance & Controls:

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Support internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Maintain proper internal controls and implement improvements to financial procedures.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget with department heads.
• Monitor performance against the budget, providing variance analysis.

Accounting Functions:

• Oversee daily operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions per accounting principles.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow to maintain operational liquidity.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and ensure sufficient working capital.

Internal Controls:

• Develop internal controls to protect assets and prevent fraud.
• Review and streamline financial processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Team Management:

• Supervise, mentor, and provide training to junior accounting staff.
• Lead the finance team to achieve departmental goals.

Strategic Planning:

• Provide financial insights for strategic planning with senior management.
• Analyze market conditions to inform business strategy.

Education, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Professional qualification will be considered a plus.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial analysis in a production environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Odoo, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
