    Senior Corporate Finance Officer

    Qualification: Minimum of HND/Bsc Accounting 

    Work Experience

    • A minimum of 5yrs work experience in Corporate Finance role with reputable company
    • Professional Qualifications:  ACA or ACCA is mandatory  

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Set up the project chart of accounts 
    • Create project accounts in the accounting system 
    • Maintain project-related records, including contracts and purchase orders 
    • Authorize access to project accounts 
    • Weekly/Monthly reconciliation of bank statements with general ledger 
    • Support the account team in the preparation of the yearly budget 
    • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices.
    • Participate in the preparation of monthly income statement and balance sheet
    • Raising and preparation of bank transfers and petty cash voucher
    • VAT and WHT computation and remittance
    • Supervises posting of all bank transactions on accounting software
    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations•     
    • Creating and processing invoices
    • Filling of tax return with relevant tax authority; 
    • Review staff payroll for correctness and accurate statutory deductions; 
    • Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
    • Sending bills and invoices to clients
    • Management of the company’s account payables and receivables
    • Proper record keeping of sales order
    • Daily update on sales
    • Daily monitoring and tracking of inflows and outflows
    • Inventory control and management
    • Preparation and tracking of the company’s expense account
    • Reconciliation of bank statements with cash accounts
    • Assisting with budgeting and business performance evaluation
    • Proffering solutions and aiding debt recovery processes
    • Monthly bank analysis
    • Assist with audit preparations, and 
    • perform other accounting duties as assigned
    • Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management 
    • Follow up with receivables regarding unpaid contract billings
    • Respond to requests for more detail from customers
    • Any other assigned duty
