Responsibilities
Take a lead role in seeking out and developing new business relationships and partnerships that foster and nurture opportunities.
Effectively manage the sales pipeline, leading efforts to identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with the group's strategy.
Maintain current client relationship and identify areas for potential clients. Identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the diverse services offered by the group.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to identify strategic opportunities for business growth.
Initiate the proposal response process, ensuring that all submissions meet high standards and align with company objectives.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's suite of products/services and stay informed about industry developments, competitors, and market trends.
Develop and execute innovative sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue and expanding market share.
Drive lead generation activities through effective outreach, networking, and pitch facilitation to showcase the firm's capabilities and value proposition.
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
Facilitate proposal responses, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to stay updated on industry trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree accounting or law.
Proven experience with minimum of 8 years in a senior business development role within the financial services industry, preferably in trust management.
Excellent understanding of financial products, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation skills and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machines.
Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
