Senior Accountant at Signal Alliance

• The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in financial management and reporting of Signal Alliance Consulting – a subsidiary company of SATH. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning and decisions. The role demands a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key responsibilities will include:

Receivables & Payables:

• Manage account payables, account receivables, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Billing Issues – create system that manages billing issues with customers, investigating discrepancies in invoices to determine the accuracy of charges.
• Lead and deliver data insights around prepayment schedules, customer currency conversion and reconciliaiton, invoice receipt reports, customer historical transactions, forex and risks, etc.
• Review credit lines with customers
• Provide credit and loss analysis on every sale.

Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory filings; liaise with auditors and tax consultants as necessary.
• Identify issues relating to compliance concerns, risks, fraud, and data inaccuracies.
• Study accounting records, prepare compliance reports and supervise financial workflows to ensure that the right authorization processes have been followed.

Financial Statement & Budget Planning:

• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
• Provide input into the company’s financial reports as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Other Responsibilities

• Lead and direct team members on receivables and internal audit procedures.
• Ensure team members have the right performance metrics that can be measured.
• Develop, implement & modify record keeping processes around company receivables and audit.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, projects, and investment initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial discipline across projects and engagements.
• Participate in ERP system updates and improvements, ensuring accuracy in financial data management.
• Assist with cash flow management and treasury functions.
• Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience

• First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
• ACCA, ACA
• 8+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Knowledge of Accounting systems.
• Knowledge of business application systems
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams
